Microsoft Windows XP. Microsoft Windows Vista. Microsoft Windows 7. Microsoft Windows Server (2000, 2003 & 2008).   LAN environment: Stations: Can be running 32 bits or 64 bits Windows OS. Memory: 4GB of RAM minimum, higher recommended. Server: Can be running 32 bits or 64 bits Windows OS. Memory: the main application does not run on your server, therefore your actual server configuration should be enough to share the main database folder. If you have remote users you must check the memory requirements from the remote access software vendor (like Microsoft for Terminal Services).   Remote desktop connections (like Windows Terminal Services): Stations: Can be running 32 bits or 64 bits Windows OS. Memory: 4GB of RAM minimum, higher recommended. Server: Hosting the application online with a third party Company: You do not need a local server, your data is hosted by the third party company of your choice. Hosting the application online using your own remote access server: Can be running 32 bits or 64 bits Windows OS. The main application WILL run on your server, therefore your actual server configuration may need an upgrade. Memory: check with your remote access software vendor for specific recommendations (like Microsoft for Terminal Services). Remote servers running Windows Server will usually allow access for up to 2 concurrent users (connected at the same time). You must provide and install your CAL licenses. CAL licenses can be purchased online (one time purchase price) from different sources at discounted prices. Microsoft Outlook must be installed server side to send emails from the software. Microsoft Word (up to MS Word 2011) must be installed server side to edit Microsoft Word DOC/DOCX Document Templates. Microsoft Excel must be installed server side to run the NPV Model from the FDIC.   Hard disk: Installation: a minimum of 90MB of space for the installation including the program and the empty database (this does not include imported PDFs). Additional: 200 MB per year for a typical Company, processing about 1,000 new cases per month (this does not include imported PDFs).   Display: VGA or higher resolution monitor. 1024 x 768 of screen resolution (or more) is required. Printer: Inkjet or Laser (recommended). Faxing: Service from eFax or similar Company is required (not included with your license of SX3). Emails: Microsoft Outlook must be installed on each station in order to send emails.   Dispute Style Docs: To use the dispute letter generating features, a license of Microsoft Word 2007 or newer (or Microsoft Office) must be installed on the station / remote server.   Word Automation and Upgrading to Office 2010 With the new release of Microsoft Office 2010 there are two ways to install the new office 2010 system. The first is to install the office system in 32 bit or 64 bit mode (Standard), and the second is to use the one click online installation (Virtual). The first method is the method that SX3 Software will support. Internet: Internet connection is required to send emails/eFaxes directly from the application and for software authentication. Internet connection is also required if the software is installed on a remote server to access the software. Credit Report: You must use the latest version of Internet Explorer (is is free) in order to import Credit Reports. You can use any other Internet browser to view your reports but they may present difficulties when importing into SX3.
